Our Clinic Team

Helen Truong-Brett, Medical Aesthetician

Helen is our fabulous clinic manager and certified medical aesthetician. She keeps our clinic running smoothly on a day to day basis with her astute and resourceful nature, while also performing treatments for clients herself. Needless to say, there’s not a lot that she can’t handle. Being a perfectionist, Helen enjoys taking her time with each of her clients to ensure that the best results are achieved. When Helen’s not at the clinic, she is a loving daughter, a caring wife, and a dedicated mother of 2 adorable kids to keep her schedule busy. 

What she enjoys doing on her downtime (if she gets any): organizing (a lot), watch crime documentaries, eat noodles of all sorts, enjoy some red wine, being louder than her kids, and crafting.

Janet Truong, Aesthetics Pharmacist

Janet graduated from the University of Alberta in 2012 with a BSc in Pharmacy, and has been practicing since. She is one of our prescribing pharmacists and specializes in medical aesthetics and weight loss to help her patients with various dermatological and wellness concerns.

When she’s not working, she’s constantly thriving to learn the latest technologies and treatments to offer. Hobbies? Well, these include hot yoga, swimming, and sleeping in (but not possible with 2 kids, so drinking coffee).

Michelle Truong, Clinical Pharmacist (PharmD)

Meet Michelle, our dedicated and passionate Pharmacist at Aspen Aesthetics + Pharmacy. With a fresh perspective and a commitment to healthcare, Michelle is an invaluable addition to our team.

Michelle recently graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, and her enthusiasm for the healthcare field is truly infectious. She had always had a deep-rooted desire to make a positive impact on patients’ lives, and her journey to becoming a pharmacist is a testament to her unwavering dedication.

Some of her random hobbies outside of work include bouldering, pole dancing, and therapeutic baking.

Lisa Ho, Aesthetics Pharmacist

Lisa completed her Bachelor of Science In Pharmacy at the University of Alberta in 2018 and has been practicing in community pharmacy since then. Dealing with acne from a young age helped to foster her obsession and intrigue for skincare and the aesthetics industry. She completed her injectables training at Frida Academy in November 2022. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Ellie and eating her way around Edmonton.

Angelyn Schultz, Aesthetics Pharmacist

Hello my name is Angelyn and I am a Pharmacist Injector!

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Alberta in 2019. Since then, I have gained experience working with Calgary’s vulnerable population supporting mental health and addiction recovery. I have gained experience working with Edmonton’s population supporting people living with diabetes and seeking aesthetic care. I believe that prevention is key to decrease the burden of illness and chronic disease.

I am proud to say I am a prescribing pharmacist! Having Additional Prescribing Authority allows me to provide accessible and extensive quality care to my patients.

My past experience in the modelling industry has shown me confidence glows from within! I love natural-looking results and putting your best face forward!

Outside of work I enjoy yoga, a great cup of coffee and going for walks in the River Valley!

I look forward to starting this new journey in aesthetics injections and meet all of you!

Marcella Minogue, Aesthetics Pharmacist

Marcella is a dedicated and highly skilled pharmacist who has successfully combined her passion for pharmaceutical care with a flair for aesthetics. She pursued additional training and certifications in aesthetic services, including dermal fillers, Botox injections, and non-surgical facial rejuvenation techniques. This unique blend of pharmaceutical expertise and aesthetic knowledge allows Marcella to provide patients with a holistic approach to their well-being.

With two children to care for, she has managed to strike a perfect balance between family life and her thriving career in the world of aesthetics. Her hobbies include skiing, DIY-ing, and she’s also an amateur designer.
